The legendary reggae and rastafari musician Cedric Myton was born in Jamaica in 1947. 

He is a highly regarded artist, not just in reggae circles but worldwide.

In 1967 he formed The Tartans alongside Lincoln Thompson, later going on to form The Congos, a group who have been active on and off from the mid-1970s until the present day. They are best known for their Heart of the Congos album, recorded with Lee Perry. 

Cedric is considered one of the true reggae classics, coming to Barcelona with his message of peace and consciousness.
